Default Dreaming of GW?

Wow....I really have to find something else to do with my time. Anyone else ever have a dream that you were doing something in GW? Took a nap on lunchbreak today (i usually play but was up playing too late last night and needed the rest) and I had a dream I was in GvG's. The cool thing was when we killed the Guild Lord he would drop minipets

I had the very disturbing dream that the community was intelligent and caring. It scared me.

ROFL...Scary indeed...

I have had a GW dream, but I'm a vivid dreamer lol. I didn't play for a month afterward. I figured if I was dreaming in gw, time to go out with the girls more, go to the park, spend some time with the bf (not playing lol)

If you're dreaming of a computer game, I agree.

I think the only game related dream I've had recently was that I went to this one restaurant was looking for a Spy. I went to they interview and they said they needed the restaurant they were in competition with eliminated.

I accepted the job, too.

Yeah I have had dreams about playing Guild Wars. That's when I knew I was playing it way too much.

That's not anything abnormal if you have a strong imagination (which most of the "get a life"-ers obviously lack). I read a lot of books and watch movies, etc, and it's not uncommon for me to have dreams about stories I've recently read or movies I've recently seen, or games I've recently played. Hell, I've solved anything from stumping math problems to video game puzzles in my sleep before. My brain never shuts off anyway. Because I'm narcoleptic I go into REM sleep and begin dreaming almost immediately after I lose consciousness. So it's no surprise that anything fresh on my mind is prime candidate for a dream.

Anything you've done during a day that made an impression in your subconsciousness can come back to you in your dreams. An argument at work, almost getting in a wreck while driving, eyeing a really attractive woman, even playing a video game. Some people don't dream at all, so be thankful that you can. I couldn't imagine not having that one little time of escape.

And screw "having a life." That means being around people, so no thank you. I've been around human beings for almost 40 years, and it got old when I was about 5. I've had more than enough of being around people. Given the choice, I'd much rather have an imagination.

Dont think that i've dreamed about GW but sometimes i keep thinking about builds what our party could use.. during the night even. Quite many times, nearly everytime i was stuck at vanquishing some area :P. There were times where i've got up at 03:00am again and just had to login and do the build(s) & save it.. eh.

I didn't dream about GW per se, however when I was heavily into the game my dreams did include the GW HUD and I generally interacted via my skill buttons.

Nope. Never dreamed about it.

I don't dream too often, but I have had some pretty crazy dreams. The scary thing is that they're continuous. While I'm dreaming them, or remembering them, I can see how they link to each other. Some occasionally repeat. All of them bear a relation to each other.

Then I also have regular dreams that are usually forgotten and are irrelevant and have no relation to each other; they're usually just random dreams. The continuous, linked ones seem to have (since I'm a gamer, this is the word I'll use) a storyline to them; they are not simply random.

I haven't had a GW dream in a while..... but when I first started playing... May 2005... I would dream GW almost every night. It was really freaking me out. I think it all started the first time I went to do Althea's Ashes and those horrible scary looking charr came and beat the crap out of me.

.... hmmm.... also when I first tried beating Thunder Head Keep and I was stuck there for 2 weeks.... oh the nightmares Good times

Tbh i can't remember, i know for a fact i have had day dreams about it, but not if i have had "real" dreams.
It would not surprise me tho, since dreaming is basically going through your day when you sleep and then expanding on that, sometimes in very odd and slightly disturbing ways :P
